William Shakespeare's THE TEMPEST

There are bright and spectacular crimes, but there are also those that the criminal himself does not know that he has committed them.

The crime of a man who deprives his brother of his crown and throws him outside the borders of his native country, everyone can name: it is treason. But what about the crime of omission that, while its consequences continue, has gone unnoticed? How can a criminal be absolved when even he himself does not know that a crime took place?
