Charlatans
“When I’m not acting, life is black and white,” says the heroine of Pablo Remón’s play.
And thus she makes her acting dreams come true. Others also crave success. But what is the price of trying to be the best version of oneself? Cryptomnesia, mythomania, masks, nightmares and family-related consequences… who can you believe when an author themself, as well as the hero of a play, resorts to plagiarism? Is this still real life or just a distorted reflection of it in the mirror that is the theatre?
